For starters stop making it keep asking me to turn on Bluetooth even when I’m not staying at one of your hotels.
2 stars because there isn’t an iPad version available. Sure, the iPhone version of this app runs on a iPad but it’s tiny. Also, and perhaps most notably, what happened to the Press Reader? It’s gone.
This app never shuts up asking for Bluetooth access… Ready to get rid of it. Definitely not surprised at the low ratings.
This app is embarrassing for the Four Seasons brand. I tried repeatedly to cancel a reservation using the app and it keeps saying the message isn’t received. If you can’t manage your reservation on the app what is the point? I’ll use the Bonvoy App to make a reservation at the Ritz Carlton next time — easy to use and get points. After all the money I have spent at Four Seasons it is clear they have no loyalty program to recognize frequent stayers.
Hi, the app seems to think running on an M1/M2 Macbook is 'jailbroken'
I love this app for communicating with a property, particularly while onsite and particularly while in a foreign country where I don’t speak the language. Of course my many positive experiences with the app are because of the great customer service we have received from the FS team members staffing the other end of the communication.
This is one of the most incompetently designed apps on Apple. How hard does it need to be to change a phone number attached to your account (and, no, it should not require opening a ticket). No UI feedback when choosing a date in the calendar, no confirmation screen when completing a booking, “preferences” is nonsense list of options that don’t reflect what you’ll actually need during your stay. Whole thing feels like a template. My experience with the properties: 5 stars. My experience with this “app”: 1 star. To the “app and accounts team”: Get it together. Less playing around and more getting the job done. It’s really isn’t rocket science to get this right. Serving hospitality and booking is a solved problem. You’re dragging the brand down.

I enjoyed the app when it worked, but now it’s only says that my phone is “jailbroken”… no, no my phone is not. Seems like something that should be addressed seeing that many are having this issue. And yes, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app.
This app thinks I am on a jailbroken device, I am using an Apple Silicon Mac, please fix this!
Please fix your app. It was driving us nuts constantly requesting to connect to our Bluetooth (which we leave off most of the time). There should be an option to say no thanks and never be bothered again… requesting access multiple times a day forced us to delete your app. :(
I love that I can directly chat with the concierge team. But this is my third time staying in this Four Seasons (San Francisco Embarcadero) and the in-room dining menu has never worked in the app. Each time, I have to ask for dining options over chat which is bothersome rather than having time to peruse the menu
I am staying at the Four Seasons Oahu at Ko Olina resort as I write this. Getting the app registered and able to see my reservation required an hour and help from the front desk. Multiple attempts to order room service from the app, each taking non-trivial time, all failed with the instructions to “Please chat with us to complete your order.” Chat seems to initially work, but either it lost connection quietly, or the person or AI on the other side just stopped responding. I waited 35 minutes for a follow up response before giving up. Enjoy the app if you enjoy exercises in frustration and futility.
Basic functions work. Could be smoother. Keeps pestering for Bluetooth permissions. Not sure if that pestering balances the convenience of an app.
Don’t waste your time. Absolutely done with the four seasons as a whole. The app is terrible, the service also terrible, the food is equally as terrible. But the prices? Astronomical! If you want cafeteria food but pay stadium prices for them to bring it to you cold, then this is the place for you.
Please stop asking to use Bluetooth!
The app thinks my phone is jailbroken and won’t even boot… it’s not. Completely useless during my stay!
We stay at four seasons always, if they have a hotel in a particular location we are going. We are currently in four seasons Bora Bora. And interact with our concierge a lot about activities, spa, and different things we are booking. The app is very helpful and concierge responds right away! The only annoying thing is it constantly asking me to turn on Bluetooth and allow app to connect to my Bluetooth (which I turned off). And when the Bluetooth is on it is asking me all the time to allow four seasons to connect through Bluetooth to nearby devices. It is very frustrating. And it happens every time I open an app or use it. Can you please fix this bug?!
If only the app wasn’t so glitchy… Function is great when it works. Had to delete app twice in reinstall bc it does not allow me to chat more than once with Conceriege staff before I can’t access the chat anymore or add additional chats Likely going to happen a third time I can tell
Insists my phone (purchased directly from my carrier) is jailbroken and that it cannot run on jailbroken phones “for security reasons.” Even if it was jailbroken, those “security reasons” don’t seem to be a problem for anyone else (you know, like banks that have your financial info, apps that monitor your physical location, or others that really need to care about security). Surprising that this is the one thing the Four Seasons isn’t good at.
EVERY time i go to push wifi button on. iphone. a pop-up from four seasons reads: turn on bluetooth to enable something or other. ITS SO ANNOYING. i called 4 seasons. i deleted from home screen. now i have to dump altogether. all my notifications are disabled. fix this now!
The app was working fine, but now it won’t open because “the app won’t run on a jailbroken phone”, which I don’t have. I’ve tried deleting and reloading to no avail.
Very disappointing app
No functionality. The change dates banner is over the photos so you can’t see the pic.
App looks nice, and the functions that are available work just fine. It would be so much better if you could cancel or edit your reservations in the app.
The interface is clumsy and slow. The sign in feature is awful. Too bad that a poor app weakens a hotel experience.
Hello, I wanted to share my thoughts and see if there are any upcoming updates to correct this. Is there a reason you cannot are which room you have booked in the app or any info on your room ? No response, are you ever going to update your app UI ? Or add these features ? Update*** getting better can you please add more photos of the rooms, while purchasing thousand dollar a night rooms, it would be helpful to see them thank you.
Someone else called it. It’s just a brochure. Can’t do anything on this app but look at your reservations. Can’t make dinner reservations, tee time, anything. Why have clients download it and be sorely disappointed?
Made a reservation, hotel confirmed three times, reservation will not add to my profile.
5 stars for functionality and look but since this new app was launched it will no longer give you text notifications unless the app is open and in use. So you have to be using the app to get a notification if the hotel texts you back.
I have updated information in my profile several times and it does not save - just reverts back to old outdated information. Have also changed my preferences and they don’t save either.
Amazing service through the app.
Signing in used to be easy. Now, you select your email or phone and they text a code. Why is it so strict? My credit card apps aren’t this rigid. Annoying when the code won’t come through and then the system gets confused about which is current. Please go back to Face ID!
I am a loyal client of FS Hotels around the world, and previous to this update loved the app. How awesome is it to let housekeeping know when to clean your room? It’s pretty awesome! However, the app simply no longer works. I am not able to login despite trying with new 6 digits codes over & over again. I’ve tried to tweet @FourSeasons and have been ignored. I will be thoroughly disappointed if this review is ignored and the app not fixed before my next stay at the Beverly Wilshire in a couple of weeks.
I received a confirmation email telling me to download the app to expedite check-in. So I did and it couldn’t find the reservation. 100% fail. Don’t waste your time.
Have requested an access code by email and text at least 5 times each and on multiple days and have received nothing. So the app is pretty much worthless.

I was looking forward to using the App during my stay at the Four Seasons, but I couldn’t even get pass the 6-digit access code. I resent it many times, but did not receive any text or email. Not sure if its connection or a glitch on the app. Pls fix!
The newest “update” requires you to submit for 6 digit code by email or phone each time you sign in. When you submit for the code, it never arrives (by email or phone)
App is Ok but it’s not compatible with tablet landscape views...very annoying.
I absolutely love this app when staying at the FS. Quick to respond to chat. I use it several times a day. In Asia, language can sometimes be tricky. Not with the app. Brilliant staff, brilliant app. Highly recommend.
This app preformed incredibly well for my trip to Los Angeles, It helped me with everything from forgotten toothpaste which they got for me! And finding dinner plans for laguna
I am a committed and loyal four seasons guest. It is such a disappointment that they haven’t invested in a leading digital app service experience that matches what they do at their properties. This should be a seamless service experience to manage reservations, concierge, transportation, activities. Their after check in service could be phenomenal and intuitive (which I would love) if they gave me the right capability with the app. As of now it is merely a brochure with pretty photos and a mediocre booking system for hotel rooms. (This is the only negative review I have ever given FS)
I give it a 5*on beauty, but a 2 or 3* on functionality. It is time consuming to use and has key needs in typing: Space, erase, @ etc missing on some of the entry screens. It also crashed halfway through a ten minute dinner reservation. Please have a renewed effort by a Focus group refine it. They will need at least ten passes to get it worth using, and worthy of the Four Seasons name. By: A Four Seasons elite guest.
